Features of the eChecking Account:
- High interest, liquid account with no minimum balance required.
- No monthly service fee.
- A VISA Debit (Access) card will be issued to each account holder.
- The ability to open sub accounts via Home Banking (excluding IRA accounts).
- The ability to change personal information (address and phone numbers) via Home Banking.
- Members that qualify will receive overdraft privilege.
- Unlike "other" electronic accounts, Cal State Central Credit Union members have 4 branches that they can also walk into during business hours.
- Funds federally insured up to $250,000
Basic Requirements to open the eChecking account:
- Sign up for Home Banking
- Sign up for eStatements
- No paper checks (handwritten), access funds with your FREE VISA Debit (Access) card
- Direct Deposit into eChecking account
- Members can only have eChecking account or an S5 regular checking account - not both.
*APY = annual percentage yield. Members will be charged $24 for each paper check. There is no monthly fee to open/maintain an eChecking but all fees for other services still apply.
